Ponker Farm was established in 2015 on the top of an Ozark mountain in North Central Arkansas only twelve miles south of the Missouri state line.

Our sheep are genetically strong. We raise Finnsheep and Texel crosses. Spring lambs are available every year. We sell fiber pets, show quality lambs, breeding stock, and freezer lambs.

Finnsheep wool is sought after by many hand spinners. Every spring the flock is sheared. We have various naturally colored and white fleeces available. Anyone interested in the raw wool is welcome to inquire and reserve the ewe or ram of their choice.

Bio-security is very important for our farm. The sheep are tested annually for the communicable diseases that cause suffering for the animals and devastation for the farm. (Johne's, OPP) We buy only proven clean and healthy stock and even then, quarantine to ensure the health and well being of our beloved flock. We gladly provide the results of our testing to any prospective buyer. In addition, past results are available here.
